Carolina Post Frame Barndominiums is the nation’s leading provider of barndominium construction plans and blueprints.
We provide you the ability to have everything you need to hire a local contractor and build one of our ‘viral’ barndominiums anywhere across the country. If you live where we have a partner builder, you can choose to work directly with this builder, or you can hire your own. You will have everything you need to hire a contractor to build our model almost anywhere in the country.
If you have any construction experience, we have designed our package to enable you to 'build' it yourself. This does not mean you will be turning screws, but that you will be able to hire the sub-contractors to complete the various facets of construction. Using our line item budget you will know exactly who to hire and how much you can pay them to stay within your budget. Each of our plans includes approximately 20% contractor profit, so building yourself will result in approximately 20% savings on our estimated construction costs.
When you purchase our plans package you get everything you need to hire your contractor or start building yourself:
- Full set of construction plans, 3d drawings and renderings
- Detailed construction procedure for shell construction
(where the major monetary construction savings are derived) - Cost estimate on your finished structure
- One hour of consulting with your contractor of choice
- Recommendation to our preferred contractor if you are located in their territory

- Choose one of our models that is perfect for you and get started building
- Choose one of our models that is ALMOST perfect for you… make a few changes to make it your own custom home
- Design your Barndominium from scratch.
- Pick one of our Models… they’re great.
Our pricing varies from our three current models from $2,995 to $3,750 for the complete consulting package. - Use our model, but modify slightly to ‘make it yours.’
You choose a model with pricing as described above, and then you are allowed up to 15 wall changes for only $1500 extra. Once your model is completed, you will have a complete set of plans provided to you of your new custom home, along with items 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8 from our services list above. - Design your own custom plan; it’s all you… of course it’s perfect.
